HEROPASS, a band that takes you on a stoner doommetal ride. A nice mixture between, I think, BLACK SABBATH kinda guitars and deep grunts going well together with the melodic vocals. Yendo en orden de lados, el material comienza con la contribución de HEROPASS en el lado A, su EP homónimo, que consisten en 5 canciones cantadas en inglés, salvo el cover a los nacionales, HIELO NEGRO, con la canción «Oscuros Momentos«, y la participación de Victor Diaz (TULK-MAL) en el sintetizador en aquella canción y además en las canciones «Law Of Falling» y «Doom Or Be Doomed/Every Day We Die«.

HEROPASS en este lado del tape presenta una forma de doom metal, con guturales en gran parte de las canciones y voces limpias pero opacas, mezclada con algo de stoner, bien densa y pesada, con un gran uso de reverb en las voces y a instrumentación bastante simple. Sin embargo a pesar que de buenas a primeras pudiesen percibirse como canciones monotonas, al avanzar el lado puede uno percatarse que la variedad se encuentra en la intencionalidad de cada canción, teniendo los instrumentales, «The Passenger» y la homonima «Heropass«, uno una intencionalidad más rockeras y la otra más caótica y oscura, «Law Of Falling» entrega un carácter más denso pero más emotivo llegando al final, «Doom Or Be Doomed/Every Day We Die» uno más enérgico y otro más depresivo en «Oscuros Momentos«.

La banda, en su corta carrera, en este split deja bien marcado y definido su estilo en lo musical y esa sonoridad muy de «baja fidelidad» (si se pudiera llamar así) le da una nota muy personal, el cual en formato cassette le queda muy apropiado.
